Warriors Weekend | June 21 - 22, 2019

The Wisconsin Military Network is proud to be hosting Warriors Weekend in June 2019. The weekend will consist of programs, presentations, tours, and a final concert that promotes healing, reflection, and celebration. All activities will be held in Sheboygan, WI.

ITINERARY OF EVENTS

FRIDAY, JUNE 21, 2019

Veterans Resource Center Van 5 - 10 p.m.

The Mobile Veterans Center is every veteran’s one-stop opportunity to learn about all the resources, services and community supports available to facilitate the transition between military and civilian life.

One-on-One Counseling with Commander McBride, MD and staff (South of the Weill Center at 816 N 8th St.) 5 - 6:30 p.m.

Commander Michael McBride MD USNR, is Local Recovery Coordinator at Zablocki VA Medical Center. Dr. McBride, is a psychiatrist focused on helping veterans return successfully to the civilian world. He is a veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan. Individual sessions with Dr. Michael McBride & counselors will be held in private meeting rooms provided at Weill Center.

Veterans Benefits Fair (Weill Lobby) 5 - 10 p.m.

Almost Sunrise Movie, Community Talk Back and Social Hour (Weill Center) 7 p.m.

Almost Sunrise tells the inspiring story of two young men, Tom Voss and Anthony Anderson, who attempt to put their haunting Iraq combat experiences behind them by embarking on an extraordinary 2,700 mile trek across America.

Tours of Veterans Memorials (Bus departs at Weill Center) 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Board buses at the Weill Center for Sheboygan Veterans and Hmong Memorials.

Veterans Art Therapy Show & Military Display (South of the Weill Center at 816 N 8th St.) 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Warriors Rock! Concert with Gary Racan & the Studio E Band (Weill Center) 7:30 p.m. $30/ticket

The Warriors Rock! Concert is a tribute to our local veterans! The video memoirs of local veterans are set to the soundtrack of their service. Their favorite songs - no matter the genre - will be performed live by an extraordinary group of singers and musicians in the beautiful Weill Center on a perfect summer night.
